Integrative Therapeutics™ Announces 2009 ITI-AANP Conference Sponsorship Winners

Two students win free admission to the 2009 American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) Conference in Tacoma, WA

Green Bay, WI (August 14, 2009) — Integrative Therapeutics, Inc. (ITI^®) is proud to announce that Mark Davis and Georgiana Cullen are winners of ITI’s case study competition. Students at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, they were chosen for their accurate diagnosis and treatment protocols for a case study concerning a 35-year-old male with quality of life issues that included heart health, digestion, sexual function and sleep. ITI congratulated them on their innovative health solutions and awarded them free admission to the upcoming AANP Convention and Exposition at Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA, August 19-22. Tickets are valued at $320 each.

Kenna Brooke, ND, an ITI partner, developed the case study and judged the entries.  She is a naturopathic doctor and wellness consultant in the Cherry Creek area of Denver, Colorado, and shares a medical practice with Carrie Louise Daenell, ND, who is a member of ITI’s Medical Advisory Board.

Dr. Brooke was impressed with the winners unique and positive methods, “Instead of choosing one cause, and treating accordingly, Mark Davis approached treatment with general, overall diet and lifestyle adjustments. He then followed the therapeutic order and placed the power of healing and change into the hands of the patient.” Dr. Brooke continued, “Georgiana Cullen had a very plausible working diagnosis, but still offered multiple alternatives and ordered appropriate tests to determine the actual diagnosis. She offered treatments and lifestyle suggestions that would support the patient regardless of the cause of the symptoms and that addressed the primary concerns of the patient.”
